Footballspeler Mac heeft een geheime relatie met Missy. Mac, die door zijn vader vernederd wordt wanneer hij een wedstrijd verliest, droomt ervan samen met Missy het dorpje waarin hij woont te verlaten. Op een dag ziet Missy hoe Mac door zijn vader aangevallen wordt. In een poging Mac te beschermen doodt Missy per ongeluk zijn vader.
